Anyone can be a writer because everyone has something wise or funny or inspiring to say.
And that includes YOU.
I will be talking about and editing poems answering...
🌱 Why does punctuation matter anyways?
🌱 To capitalize or not to capitalize, that is the question.
🌱 How to structure a series of poems or (gasp!) a book.
I’m talking about the funny part. The world of IG poetry doesn’t always have a lot of humor in it, which is too bad. Because as everyone who’s watched the reel above knows, the internet is full of cats that need adoring fans. All these clips? Every day I visit a local cat adoption agency and shoot these because I want a cat. So I wrote a poem about it and felt in my soul that wasn’t enough.
So I made the video above.
You may not have cats but I’m sure you’ve got something:
🌱Want to write a poem about messing with people when they keep asking what your background is?
🌱Maybe you’re channeling trauma with petty poems about how your ex (lover/ boss/ friend) always picked Taco Bell instead of going to a small local taco truck. (What the HELL Gary?)
🌱Or how you can’t get OVER how your kid can be so cute but they also heard you say shit ONE TIME and won’t stop?
You’ve come to the right place to help to talk it through and polish it up.
Materials Needed:
-Pen and Paper / Laptop
